◆ In Full Bloom Now: The Lotus Flowers at Shinobazu Pond A highly recommended destination during the summer is Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park. Right now, in mid-July, the lotus flowers are at their peak. The sight of massive green leaves covering the surface of the water, dotted with beautiful pink blossoms, is truly breathtaking. As the flowers open in the morning and close by the afternoon, it makes for the perfect peaceful morning walk after waking up refreshed at our facility.
