Here’s how to get to Ueno using direct trains and the subway.
Nihonbashi Station on the Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro lines are a short distance apart, and it takes about 3 minutes to walk between them.

1, Exit through the Hirokōji Exit at Ueno Station (JR).
If you are using Ueno Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or Hibiya Line, please refer to Step 4.

2, Cross the traffic light directly in front of you. There is also a pedestrian overpass to the left as you exit.

3, After crossing the intersection, turn left and continue straight ahead. The road curves to the right partway along, but keep going straight.

4, Follow the road and turn right. Nearby, you’ll find a 7-Eleven convenience store and an entrance to Ueno Station (Tokyo Metro).
If you are using Ueno Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or Hibiya Line, take Exit 4 to reach this street. Once you exit, continue straight ahead.
